| PERFORMANCES |

The Machining center AM50 for window-frames presents two sides: |
| |
a tenoning side, which allows the following: |
 |
setting to length, turning around and entering into profiling in automatic mode for high output independently from the dimensions of frames |
 |
table with linear interpolation used for making inclined tenons at the same speed as for straight ones |
 |
the machine is equipped with 1 tenoning shaft having 600/650 mm. length |
 |
splinter screen “Jolly” to prevent automatically any splintering on all tools without any need to change the counter-template |
 |
large table for external profiling of window-frames |

a profiling side, which allows the following: |
 |
possibility of equipping the machine with 2 or 3 profiling shafts each having 600 mm. length |
 |
possibility of equipping the machine with 1 left-hand vertical shafts |
 |
possibility of equipping the machine with horizontal shafts over and under the table level |
 |
automatic NC-controlled vertical positioning of the take-off wheels |
 |
right-hand and left-hand guides with automatic NC-controlled positioning according to the job to be carried out. |

| ELECTRONIC CONTROL |

The angular plant is provided with a modular multi-axis NC system of new design having a 2-PC architecture for controlling in real time all machine functions by means of man-machine dialog, LCD 14” monitor, alphanumerical keyboard, mouse, hard-disk, floppy-disk drive, USB port available. On request, CD-ROM drive and bar-code reader.
The NC and the “Wingrp” software allow easy and complete operations, such as: |

Handling and programming of jobs: programming of the jobs is extremely simple and versatile. In fact, single pieces, complete cycles or large job orders can be programmed. |

Handling of work cycles: the operator must only load the workpieces, while the NC controls positioning of all units (saw-blade, tool-shaft, guides), workpiece turning around, workpiece passage to the profiling station and, if required, return of the workpiece |
 |
Automatic handling of the job order: the NC has a socket for the connection to the network for entering the work data developed on a workstation in the office. The “Wingrp” software installed on the machine enables automatically defining of different frame-components to be manufactured by requiring only a few basic features (i.e. height, width, number of wings). The NC is able to read any ASCII files containing work data memorised on a floppy disk or CD-ROM. |

Handling of miscellaneous functions: the NC also controls the start-up of all motors of the machine, any opening of the dust-suction mouths, automatic lubrication of the work surfaces, any automatic loading of the workpiece and return of the finished piece. |
 |
Diagnostics: the NC supplies a wide range of error and malfunction messages, information about pieces already manufactured or still to be done. Furthermore, a teleservice Modem can be installed.. |
